How an Online HVAC Planning Estimate Works
An online HVAC estimate is a planning tool, not a final proposal. Maintenance First’s estimator uses the service and property details you submit to show available options; some conditions require an on-site assessment before a price can be confirmed.

What information the estimator asks for
The current estimator guides you through the service type, equipment and property questions, relevant conditions, and contact details needed to calculate or route a request. Answer only what applies and use the choices available in the form; the result depends on the currently released estimator and pricing configuration.
Planning estimate versus verified scope
An online result helps compare available planning options. It does not confirm equipment condition, installation measurements, access, code requirements, or work that cannot be assessed from the answers alone. Final pricing depends on verified equipment requirements, condition, access, ductwork, electrical work, permits, and the agreed project scope.
Repair and replacement can lead to different next steps
A repair request is evaluated around the reported symptom and diagnostic findings. Replacement planning depends on system selection and installation requirements. The estimator may show a custom-assessment outcome when the available information is not enough to present a useful planning range. Equipment age alone does not determine whether repair or replacement is the better choice.
What happens after you submit
If you submit contact information with the estimate, the site records the request so Maintenance First can follow up. A successful submission is not an appointment confirmation or a final price. For a current service issue, you can also use the service request form or call the company directly.
